Topic: Polygamy

A.      INTRODUCTION

Thesis Statement: Polygamy should be prohibited because it has bad effects for family life.

B.      BODY

1. Counterargument       : Some people believe that conflict will not occur in a polygamous family if the husband can be fair in managing his two families’ life.

Argument               : Conflict often occurs in a polygamous family.

Support                 : There are many cases of conflict in a family that is because of the jealousy among family members.

2.       Counterargument   : Some people believe that polygamy will not lead to a divorce.

Argument               : In reality, there are many divorce cases caused by polygamy

Support                 : One of the examples is AA Gym’s divorce.

3.   Counterargument     : The children will accept the polygamy and they will be able to adjust the situation.

Argument                   : Not all children can adjust with the polygamy situation and it will make the children’s psychological development be bad.

Support                      : Children run away from home as the result of their father’s polygamy.

 

C.      CONCLUSION

   It would be better to prohibit polygamy before our family life get bad effect from it.

 Polygamy

Polygamy is currently getting a lot done. Actually polygamy brings many problems in a family life, but some people support it because it doesn’t conflict with religion. In my opinion, polygamy should be prohibited because it has bad effects for family life.

Some people believe that conflict will not occur in a polygamous family if the husband can be fair in managing his two families’ life. However, it must also be recognized that conflict often occurs in a polygamous family because the husband cannot be fair when managing his two families’ life well at the same time. There are many cases of conflict in a family that is because of the jealousy among family members. For an example, husband’s excessive attention to his new wife will make his old wife be jealous.

Some people believe that polygamy will not lead to a divorce. However, in reality, there are many divorce cases caused by polygamy. Let’s take an example of polygamy case conducted by AA Gym. At the first time, the life of AA Gym’s polygamy worked well, but several years later, the situation changed. AA Gym got divorced with his first wife.

There are some husbands who think that the most important person to be asked for permission before doing polygamy is their wife and they also think that they do not need to ask permission to their children because their children will be able to adjust to the situation. However, in, reality, not all children can receive these kind of situation and if it happened, the children’s psychology development will be bad. There are some cases found about the children who run away from their house because they are disappointed with their father who do polygamy.

Prohibiting polygamy is the best way to save your family. Remember! Polygamy doesn’t only give the bad effect for you but also your family. It can make conflict that brings out the divorce. Not only that, polygamy gives the bad effect on your children’s psychology. So, the decision is in your hand whether you want to choose your family or your desire to do polygamy.

Supporting idea: There is no pickpocket or theft in private vehicle.

C.         Traveling by private vehicle saves our energy.

Supporting idea: We don’t have to move from one vehicle to another vehicle in reaching the destination.

3. CONCLUSION

Both public transportation and private vehicle are enjoyable, but if you want to travel comfortably and easily, try to travel by your private vehicle.

Private Vehicle vs. Public Transportation

Vehicle is one of several important things in our lives. So often in this era, there is public transportation provided for us, so we do not need to be confused anymore about how we can reach a very far destination. In this era, we also find that many people use their own vehicle when traveling. In fact, people get several advantages when traveling by private vehicle than traveling by public transportation.

When we travel using public transportation, we have to wait for the vehicle we need and sometimes the driver wants to get many passengers, so that he or she can get a lot of money. This kind of thing will only waste our time. In contrast, traveling by private vehicle saves our time because we do not have to wait as we experience when traveling by public transportation.

Traveling by private vehicle is safer. We often find many people lose their money and stuff in the public transportation because there is someone who steals their money and stuff. Unlike public transportation, there is no pickpocket or theft in our vehicle. We can prevent them by installing an alarm on our vehicle. Traveling by private vehicle saves our energy. When we are traveling by public transportation, sometimes we have to move from one vehicle to another vehicle several times in reaching the destination. Both private vehicle and public transportation are enjoyable. In the same way, both of them use money. Unlike private vehicle, some people say that traveling by public transportation is cheaper than traveling by private vehicle, and some people also say that traveling by public transportation means that we are exercising because sometimes we have to move from one vehicle to another vehicle. Therefore, I am not suggesting you not to use public transportation. However, if you want to travel comfortably and easily, try to travel by your private vehicle

     I.            INTRODUCTION

Thesis Statement: According to the tourists’ opinion, based on the result of the Indonesia’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism’s survey, there are three beaches in Indonesia which have magnificent scenery.

II.               BODY

A.         The first beach that will amaze you with the scenery is Senggigi Beach in Lombok.

a)   Calm waves.

b)   Marvelous coral reefs.

c)    Amazing temple called Batu Bolong.

B.         The second beach with the wonderful scenery is Kuta Beach in Bali.

a)         Challenging waves.

b)         Beautiful sunset.

C.         Then, we move on from Bali to Bangka Belitung that has Parai Tenggiri Beach with some fabulous scenery.

a)         Beautiful Sunrise.

b)         White sand.

c)          Amazing Rock Island.

Beautiful Beach

Indonesia is a rich country of the natural beauty, one of which is the beauty of the beach. Because of the beauty, it is a fact that the beaches of Indonesia are often visited by tourists, both local tourists and foreign tourists. All of the Indonesia beaches provide its own beauty in the heart of a million people, but according to the tourists’ opinion, based on the result of the Indonesia’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism’s survey, there are three beaches in Indonesia which have magnificent scenery.

The first beach that will amaze you with the scenery is Senggigi Beach in Lombok. Calm waves brought to the mainland coast soothing everyone who saw it. Calm waves become an advantage for the tourists who like snorkeling to see the underwater beauty of the beach. Marvelous coral reefs that tower into the middle of the sea make the waves break in the middle. It gives more beauty for the beach. The tourists also can find an amazing temple called Batu Bolong which is built on the reef located on the waterfront. According to the local legend, a long time ago, a virgin were often sacrificed to the sharks in this place. Another legend says many women threw themselves from this place into the sea because of a broken heart.

The second beach with the wonderful Scenery is Kuta Beach in Bali. The waves are challenging, so that it makes the tourists’ heart is stirred to surf. Another beauty of the beach can be seen when the sun will set. The beautiful sunset makes the tourists feel to stay there and hypnotize the tourists to revisit the beach during the holiday.

Then, we move on from Bali to Bangka Belitung that has Parai Tenggiri Beach with some fabulous scenery. Forenoon is the perfect time to enjoy the beautiful sunrise in the beach. White sand beach that lay on the edge of the beach makes everyone who sees be amazed. The beach is also decorated with an amazing Rock Island which is a small island located at the end of the beach area. To reach the island we have to pass through a two hundred meters bridge. White stone cliffs give more beauty for the island.

            In conclusion, Senggigi beach, Kuta beach, and Parai beach Tenggiri are the examples of beautiful beach that has an incredible sight. Therefore, it is not surprising if the beaches have a large number of visitors.
